IS MY HAPPY PLACE...
My love affair with flowers and nature began when I was a child. I was blessed to spend my childhood days in New Zealand, in a beautiful garden, full of old roses, fluffy peonies, mottled hydrangeas and cascading stems of pieris.
Fond memories of playing "shops" with a childhood friend-selling rose petals and weeds picked from the garden, and then winning "the most beautiful flower" competition at Brownies (a pink and purple fuchsia) seemed to seal my fate as a floral designer.
After completing formal training I spent the next few years soaking up all the knowledge I could and building on my skills in various reputable shops, quickly working my way from a junior to a senior florist.
After creating hundreds of weddings under other employers and a brief break from flowers to design wedding invitations
I took the plunge and went out on my own. I created a specialist wedding floral & styling company.
